Too far gone to be saved?

As you suggest, if anyone is "too far gone" then you were also "too far gone". Actually, it is the fact that we WERE "too far gone" that made it necessary that Christ die for us. God now views "the world" only in terms of His Son, for the gospel declares that He has reconciled all things to Himself through Christ. We have been given the word of reconciliation and are able to declare that God does not hold their sin against them because of what Christ has done. Through Christ, God has refused to view them as enemies. One died for all, therefore all died. We now look for the new creation for there is life no where else.

If any man is in Christ, he is a new creature2 Corinthians 5:17

...to believe in Christ is not equal to an acceptance of the religion of Christianity, nor is it an avoidance of fact. I know, I stand on what appears to be no-man's land. Thank God for that! :) source
