What do I really know of such things?

But what do I really know about such things! - I ‘THINK’ you are saying that the deceiver’s ‘nature’ is of no importance, and that it doesn’t really matter what or how I think of him or it, because the deception is still the same! R

I think you know way more than you think you do … that’s what I think! :)

I have not written to you because you don’t know the truth, but because you do know it, and because no lie comes from the truth.” 1 John 2:21

Stand in this reality my dear friend, for its truth shows through in you.

A false mind or false life that has no real substance, because the only real ‘substance’ or ‘reality’ -is God. A lie that has no life in itself what so ever. A false God.

This is excellent! And as you suggest I also think too many are way too worried about trying to figure out the exact identity of the devil and in so doing have missed this most amazing description of him. The mind of this deceiver reveals itself in the world all around us, but we have been given the mind of Christ so that we can identify the lies as they are thrown at us. Yep, you really do know!

Love, Jim

What premise? The one that keeps us thinking that we can eventually get it all figured out well enough so that all our questions are answered.   source
