Hello, my friends! :) Do you know who you are? And I DON'T mean:

• Who are you TRYING to be?
• Who have you IMAGINED that you are?
• Who do you APPEAR to be?
• Who do you WANT to be?

But, IN REALITY, who are you? Do you know?

Does your concept of identity shift back and forth with:

• how you feel?
• your circumstances?
• what you had for dinner?
• shaky relationships?
• what someone else thinks about you?

In case you're wondering, I go through this stuff all the time. But I have learned that who I am is not something that I make up or make it to be. It is as stable as the life of Jesus Christ, who destroyed the person I USED to be (though you and I may both question that) and has made me brand new in Him! This is good news! And it is my primary desire that you, as a believer in Christ, understand the truth of what has happened TO you and IN you. Have a shovelacious day!
