Light of the World
Submitted by theshovelLight of the World
Light of the world you have called me from darkness, for you are the one that I follow
Light of the world I walk no more in the darkness, since I have you I have the light of life
I used to live in the darkness; I walked by the cover of night
I stumbled and fell thinking that I was walking in light
Somehow He called me from darkness; somehow He drew me away
He was the door that I walked through from night into day
Light of the world you have called me from darkness, for you are the one that I follow
Light of the world I walk no more in the darkness, since I have you I have the light of life
Many voices have craved my attention; they’ve sought my unwavering love
But only one voice has proved worthy and it stands alone
How easily I fall to deception; thinking darkness is stronger than light
But darkness must flee from His presence, the Son is too bright
There is no other who has any light but You.
I’ve walked in that light since You shined and the darkness withdrew
Where could I go where the Son does not shine?
How could I leave when He’s there all the time?
Light of the world you have called me from darkness, for you are the one that I follow
Light of the world I walk no more in the darkness, since I have you I have the light of life

Re: Light of the World
Catchy song, dude! (And that's nice pickin', too!)
Uh ohh… I feel an earworm coming on!
Ah well, it'll make a nice change from the Spongebob Squarepants theme. ( T- hea!)
...or words to that effect,
