"For many of you actually imagine that the Spirit's imparting of knowledge surely leads to an advanced understanding of the Bible. And because of this speculation many have long assumed that those who know more about the Bible must know more about God and are therefore better equipped to teach you the knowledge of God."-Jim
Dear Jim,
I every so often see the reality that the 'teacher' who knows Bible facts as being just fleshly and empty. At the same time[and more importantly] I see those[like me] who are confused as to what was originally said in the Bible in AGREEMENT with the reality behind what was spoken in it- once those scriptures are conveyed as they were originally written. In this I see your wonderful testimony as true. For in[my] the heart, though the mind is confused, lies the living breathing word of God. Though the confusion and hurt is not always taken away by the hearing or the reading of the Bible in context, the reality of God still remains..and THAT is truly a miraculous thing when you think about it. Again I am not saying that it is not painful to only be in the grips of fleshly reasoning, just that there is definatley a testimony despite what often seems to not be present viewing from the natural mind.
