The Bittersweet Truth of Forgiveness Under Law

Forgiveness, according to the perception of law, was a bittersweet “truth” to those under it because there was always more sin to follow. And they were always reminded of it through the repetition of the sacrifices. Forgiveness through Christ is the total doing away of sin … and there is no more remembrance of it in Christ. Isn’t it odd that we still perceive of forgiveness in Christ almost the same as those who lived under law … even though we often make radical distinctions between the two?

the forgiveness of GOD is really the ONLY REAL forgiveness!  :)  any other 'forgiveness' is sourced in the legal natural mind, right?  it is the bondage of the natural mind with all its web of legal strings attached.  i know them so well from being on both the giving end and the receiving end.  frown  i think that True and Genuine Forgiveness with no strings attached is an absolute Miracle Sourced from the very Spirit of GOD within the New Creation man.  smiley  when it is truly there we know it and recognize it as the miracle it is.  heart
