Motivated by life ... or by death?
What drives you, my web-surfing, life-seeking friends? What gives you the gumption to carry out what you believe needs to be done? I suspect that some of you might say that it doesn't make any difference — as long as it produces a good result. You know, the-end-justifies-the-means kind of thinking. I tell you that if you have been set free by Jesus Christ, you only have one real option by which to truly live. All else is futility and will lead to despair. Don't worry, you don't need to prove anything to me, for I am not your judge. I can tell you that the one who is your judge recognizes you only according to that which is truly your life, which means that every attempt to motivate yourself according to something other than Christ produces nothing of life. If you live with Christ, live your life according to the power of HIS life ... not according to the worthless stuff that motivates the dead world.
