I can't get no satisfaction
The Rolling Stones made Rock and Roll history with their 1965 hit, (I can't get no) Satisfaction, but the sentiment has existed since the beginning of man. If you listen to the world around you, you can't help but hear the ongoing demand for satisfaction. Like a thirsty man in the desert pursing a mirage, humanity has been chasing after a grand illusion ... always searching but never finding. Oh sure, we may achieve measures of satisfaction, but such plateaus are so short-lived. What I have learned in all my years is that satisfaction can only be found in Christ. Now if you read that as being some kind of hypothetical, doctrinal or positional statement, I suggest you are overlooking what it really means to have been made alive in Christ. I suspect that most who are in Christ still see themselves as if wavering on the shifting sand of the world rather than truly standing on the Rock.

Re: I can't get no satisfaction
My friend this is seeing things as they are isn't it? I love having such a good friend in this life that can see this!
"In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water."
Love,
Adam
