We only think we can't understand Christ because of a lack of knowledge, and we only assume another can understand because he knows more than we do!   source

Do you believe you are obligated to sin?

I could ask this same basic question a few different ways, but it all comes down to what we believe about our current situation in this life. How is it that we can acknowledge the truth that we have been delivered from out of the domain of sin and darkness and into the kingdom of light in God's son, and yet still imagine that our present life is basically the same as it was before ... except for maybe a destiny change? What if our confusion hangs upon the lie of the deceiver that has cleverly disguised itself within the supposed teachings of Christianity? Stop right now and consider how the simple truth of Christ has been twisted so that it seems Biblical or Christianly responsible to accept a teaching that says we sin because we are still sinners. Do we not understand at all what Christ has done? Do we not understand that we are not under sin and condemnation?

apparently NOT and all too sadly NO. :

"... a teaching that says we sin because we are still sinners." Jim

that is the gravity of worldly wisdom in the 'church', isn't it? the perpetual finger pointing, judgments and condemnation. the stubbornly determined perpetuation of misidentification and the bondage it creates and supports.

why ARE we so willing to accept that misidentification? why ARE we so easily charmed and manipulated by the deceiver and his lies? why DO we suffer from such seeming hopeless amnesia?

it is wonderful to know that GOD is willing and able to wake us from our comas as HE so generously desires. HE knows best the details, the times, the circumstances, the situations, the who, what, when and wheres, the seeming hopelessness of it all.

the gospel is peaceful, quiet, calm, serene, simple ... but we miss it by expecting something more 'grandiose' not realizing or remembering just how very grandiose it truly IS!
