Sunday morning walk
Good morning! I just got back from a walk with my eldest daughter along A1A in South Palm Beach. Normally we take a 4 mile walk up the beach in our bare feet, but Christy wanted to do a more brisk pace this morning on a hard surface...with shoes. There is an added advantage of wearing shoes, as sometimes the sand is so coarse that the skin on our toes gets worn through. Ouch! The weather has gotten pretty miserable. The air is thick and warm even at 6 a.m. and there is not the slightest breeze.
Christy and I have been taking weekend beach walks for close to year now. It's one of the highlights of my week. :) Sometimes we just walk, but often our conversation will last the whole time. I do a lot of the listening, and I usually throw out a few questions. LOL!

Such wonderful, precious
Such wonderful, precious memories being built with you and Christy. :)
South Florida Summers ... yeah, that is my wilting, melting, hibernating season ... the opposite of most peoples' winter hibernations. :)
So does that mean you will go back to walking along the water's edge? You might have that horrible tar to deal with. yyyyyyyUHck!! So sad! :(
Sand-papered raw feet. Too funny ... except for the discomfort, of course. owweeee!
