Are you approaching them (those you counsel) with principles of more blessing if they stop sinning?  source

Living in the midst of so-called wisdom

Every single day I am confronted by a facade of wisdom that desires to undermine the simplicity of life and truth. Yeah I know, many consider truth either as a relativistic and bogus concept or as a collected database of proven facts. However, it is neither. I won't try to tell you that I am never swayed by this constant assault. After all, there is a sense of comfort and confidence in having something more substantial to hold onto or of giving into an agreed-upon belief that no one can know anything for sure. I find no confidence in either religious or scientific perceptions, nor do I see any real difference between them. Now I'm not suggesting that I don't recognize the appearance of difference, but I'm not fooled by the underlying principles upon which all fleshly wisdom is built. For to me, to believe in Christ is not equal to an acceptance of the religion of Christianity, nor is it an avoidance of fact. I know, I stand on what appears to be no-man's land. Thank God for that! :)
